With BMPS 2025 just around the corner, KRAFTON India Esports has officially unveiled the full tournament formatfor the year’s most anticipated BGMI championship. The action begins on May 22nd and will culminate with the Grand Finals from July 4th to 6th at Yashobhoomi, New Delhi.
Featuring 96 invited pro teams, a ₹2 crore base prize pool, and a chance to boost it to ₹4 crore through community participation, BMPS 2025 promises to be a landmark event in Indian esports.
🔹 Round 1 (May 22 – June 3):
- 96 teams split into 6 groups of 16
- Each team plays 12 matches
- Top 8 → Semi Finals Week 1
- Teams ranked 9–16 → Round 3
- Remaining 64 → Round 2
- 16 teams eliminated
🔹 Round 2 (June 5 – 8):
- 64 teams split into 4 groups of 16
- Each group plays 6 matches over 4 days
- Top 40 advance to Round 3
- 24 teams eliminated
🔹 Round 3 (June 9 – 12):
- 40 teams from Round 2 + 8 from Round 1 (positions 9–16) = 48 teams
- Divided into 3 groups of 16, reshuffled after 2 days
- Each team plays 8 matches
- Top 24 advance to Semi Finals Week 1
🔹 Semi Finals Week 1 (June 14 – 17):
- 8 from Round 1 + 24 from Round 3 = 32 teams
- Split into 4 groups of 8
- Round-robin format, 12 matches per team
- Top 8 qualify for Grand Finals
- Remaining 24 → Semi Finals Week 2
🔹 Semi Finals Week 2 (June 19 – 22):
- 24 teams split into 3 groups of 8
- Double round-robin, 16 matches each
- Top 8 join Grand Finals
🔹 Grand Finals (July 4 – 6):
- 16 best teams battle live in New Delhi
- Compete for glory and prize money
KRAFTON is innovating beyond the arena with the “Discovery Island” in-game event, allowing players to raise the prize pool while unlocking exclusive rewards.
