The Physical Education Foundation of India (PEFI), recognized as a National Sports Promotion Organization (NSPO) by the Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports, is set to host the inaugural Esports Conclave 2025 on April 1 in New Delhi. Organized in partnership with KRAFTON India, with Invest India as the knowledge partner, the event will bring together government officials, policymakers, industry leaders, and professional esports players to discuss India’s growing presence in competitive gaming.
With esports gaining traction in India, the conclave aims to foster investment opportunities, encourage global collaborations, and build a robust esports infrastructure. NODWIN Gaming, a leading esports organization in India, has also joined forces with PEFI, KRAFTON India, and Invest India to support the initiative.
The conclave, themed “Forging the Path to Global Leadership,” will cover:
- India’s roadmap for international esports competitions
- Expanding game development capabilities
- Aligning esports with the Aatmanirbhar Bharat initiative
- Enhancing esports infrastructure
- Job creation in the esports sector
- Attracting global investments
A major highlight will be the unveiling of an Esports Framework recommendation for the government, outlining key regulatory measures, industry recognition strategies, and a roadmap for positioning India as a global esports leader.
