The trailer of Gamerlog, a new comedy-drama series set in the vibrant world of Indian esports, has officially dropped. Starring Taare Zameen Par’s Darsheel Safary in the lead, the series will premiere for free on Amazon MX Player starting June 12.
A Coming-of-Age Story Set in India’s Esports Boom
Gamerlog is produced by Abhinay Deo and Neeta Shah under RDP Pulp Fiction Entertainment, and marks the directorial debut of Arya Deo. The series blends humour, emotion, and the adrenaline rush of competitive gaming to bring to life the story of Raghu aka Maverick (played by Safary), a quiet but gifted small-town gamer.
Raghu rebels against his family’s expectations to chase his dreams in Mumbai’s fast-paced esports circuit. There, he joins the quirky but determined Team Gamerlog—led by Joanna (Anjali Sivaraman) and including Lalit, Jaggi, Saurabh, and Mahesh—as they train for India’s biggest gaming showdown, The Tournament of Champions.
