Indian Call of Duty: Mobile (CODM) icon Zeel “Neutrino” Patel has announced his retirement from competitive esports, marking the end of an illustrious 8-year journey. Neutrino, who most recently represented S8UL Esports, shared a heartfelt farewell on social media, expressing gratitude for the memories, friendships, and milestones achieved throughout his career.
Neutrino was a pillar of the Indian CODM scene and remains the only Indian player to earn the MVP title at the Call of Duty: Mobile World Championship. His crowning achievement came in 2023, when he helped GodLike Esports secure a runner-up finish on the global stage.
“I’d like to tell the 17-year-old boy who just wanted to play competitive for INDIA — we made it,” Neutrino wrote. “I’d like to tell my Dad I made it.”
In his farewell message, Neutrino acknowledged the highs and lows of his journey, sending his best wishes to the next generation of players:
“I hope someone out there picks it up from where I left and wins the championship for INDIA.”
His departure leaves a significant void in the Indian CODM community. Widely respected for both his skill and character, Neutrino’s legacy will continue to inspire rising stars in Indian mobile esports.
