Indian powerhouse S8UL Esports has made a bold entry into the global Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB) scene by acquiring BloodThirstyKings (BTK), a top-tier North American MLBB roster. This landmark move makes S8UL the first India-based organisation to sign an international MLBB team, signaling its commitment to expanding its global esports footprint.
Founded in 2020, BTK quickly rose to global recognition after securing 3rd place at the M3 World Championship, bagging $80,000 in prize money. Most recently, they earned a spot at the MLBB Mid Season Cup 2025—a major competition within the Esports World Cup—after winning the Spring North America Challenger Tournament, defeating Area 77 in a 4-2 Grand Final.
BTK also had a strong showing at last year’s M6 World Championship, finishing in the top 10 with over 4 million peak viewers tuning in globally.
Animesh Agarwal, Co-founder and CEO of S8UL Esports, commented:
“We’re committing to MLBB in a big way—becoming a partnered organisation and aligning closely with the S8UL vision. As a mobile-first org, MLBB holds a special place for us. It’s the only mobile title among the eight games we’re part of. The game’s growth in India is promising, and we’re excited to contribute to its rise by working with key Indian stakeholders.”
S8UL is gearing up for a massive showing at the Esports World Cup 2025 in Riyadh, with rosters in seven major titles:
- Mobile Legends: Bang Bang
- Apex Legends
- Call of Duty: Warzone
- Chess
- EA Sports FC
- StarCraft II
- Tekken 8
As one of 40 elite organisations in the Esports World Cup Club Partner Program, S8UL’s expansion into international titles reflects its broader vision to position Indian esports on the world stage.
With this historic signing, S8UL isn’t just building a team—it’s building a global legacy.
